VEMA CORPORATION
A company profile of VEMAVAL,
INC. would not be complete without a short write-up of its mother company, VEMA
CORPORATION.
VEMA CORPORATION started its marketing operations in 1977. It introduced to the Philippine market hi-tech polymer products, all of which were manufactured by E.I DuPont de Nemours, & Co., Inc. of Wilmington, Delaware, USA.
In 1979, Vema was given the exclusive rights for the processing of ADIPRENE, a trade name for DUPONT polyether urethanes. (DUPONT later sold the business to Uniroyal Chemicals which in turn was recently cquired by Crompton Specialties, Inc.)
In 1984, the STORK GROUP OF COMPANIES appointed VEMA its agent for Stork's food processing machinery manufacturers. This was VEMA's first venture into the food processing and machinery market.
In 1986 VEMA was appointed distributor for the DUPONT Industrial Polymers division.
By 1993, upon STORK's recommindation, VEMA acquired complementary livestock equipment lines and became exclusive distributor for ROXELL, N.V., Belgium's biggest and most successful manufacturer of feed transport and feed dispensing automation equipment. Lines for dosing equipment, floorings, hatchery, ventilation and agro-computers were also acquired.
In 1994, VEMA was converted into a holding company, and its business operations were transferred to a subsidiary, VEMAVAL, INC.

Today, Vemaval Incorporated’s operations are divided into two distinct groups, the POLYMER PRODUCTS DIVISION which continues to be a premium supplier of high performance polyurethane fabricates, and the AGRI-ENGINEERING DIVISION which sells machinery that has played a significant role in the modernization of the livestock and poultry industry in the Philippines.
