Vemaprene®;
polyurethane belong to the castable elastomer group. It is a polymeric
material made by the reaction between long chain alcohols and
isocyanates proprietarily formulated and processed. Its elasticity is
between that of plastics and common rubbers.
Vemaprene®; is
a unique design and construction material combining many of the
advantages of rigid plastics, metals, and ceramics with the
extensibility of rubber.
Vemaprene®; offers a number of physical and dynamic properties which enable its produce to meet a wide range of demanding applications.
- Excellent abrasion resistance.
- Very good insulating properties.
- Excellent load bearing capacity.
- Oil, grease and chemical resistance.
- Flexible at very low temperature.
- Excellent long term stability in water.
- Wide hardness range from 10 up to 90 shore A.
- Better impact resistance than almost all plastics.
- Highly resistant to degradation by atmospheric oxygen and ozone.
- Wide range of resilience and resist cracking under repeated flexing.
- Outstanding durability in an application where severe wear is a problem.

What's New

It has been a busy summer for Vemaval, with several Playground Safety Surface projects. In March and early April, we installed Zeelaq Safety Surfaces on two playgrounds at San Beda College in Alabang. After which, we installed Zeelaq in a new school in San Antonio Heights, Sto. Tomas Batangas, a branch of the St. Thomas Academy.
We have just finished installing the safety surfaces of the playground in Miriam College's First Step, a division of Miriam College's Child Study Center. In this last project, we installed Shade Sails as well.
Zeelaq Safety Surfaces is made of two layers - a bottom layer of SBR rubber granules, and a top layer of EPDM colored granules.
